Alina Grade Hotel is located on White Sand Beach (Had Sai Khao) and opposite to Alina Resort (on the beach). On 2006 Alina Grande Hotel is newly opened 59 Thai-style hotel rooms with spacious luxury rooms and suites. Lovingly designed by Ek and Dave, Alina Grande Hotel offers beautiful new rooms with king or queen sized beds, air-conditioned, cable TV, private bathroom with hot/cold shower, balconies, and views of the ocean and mountains. Traditional Thai art adorns the walls, and the swimming pool is nestled peacefully beneath the lush tropical mountains of Koh Chang. The hotel has also a wide parking space for those who prefer to drive their cars to Koh Chang.

New lobby restaurant and bar serves Thai and Western dishes, and the patio bar serves poolside refreshments. History of Alina

Ek and Dave (Ek is from a local Thai family, born on Koh Chang, while Dave is of Welsh-Canadian origin) founded their original hotel resort in 1998 on a prime piece of beachside property on Koh Chang's most desirable beach, White Sand Beach. Named in honour of their new baby daughter, Alina, the hotel was an immediate success. With its charming, family-style approach, personal service and friendly staffs, Ek and Dave (and little Alina) soon found their resort becoming a favourite with locals and tourists alike.

Four years later, Ek and Dave purchased the property across the road, and plans began for their new expansion, Alina Grande Hotel. With every detail designed with the comfort of their guests in mind, Alina Grande Hotel opened in early 2006, and continues to grow and thrive, while never losing the personal touch that Alina Grande Hotel and Resort is known for.
