"Koh Mak" or "Ko Maak" is the third largest island of an archipelago of 52 islands in Koh Chang Marine National Park, about 40 kilometers to the south of Koh Chang that is blessed with several beautiful bays and beaches and coral reefs nearby that are still in perfect condition. Koh Mak is undoubtedly a jewel in the crown of Koh Chang Marine National Park. Koh Mak is located on the East of the Gulf of Thailand, approximately 35 kilometers from the main land (Trat province). Koh Mak is also the third biggest island in Trat province after Koh Chang and Koh Kood, with an area of 16 square kilometers; it is mostly flat. Koh Mak has a circumference of 27 kilometers, and white sandy beaches stretch from the north-west of the island round to the south.
